Robbins Sports Surfaces, LLC, Lays the Groundwork for the NCAA’s SEC and Big East Tournaments

CINCINNATI, OH (March 5, 2026) – This year marks the first year that both the SEC and Big East tournaments will be played on courts provided by Robbins Sports Surfaces, LLC, with this being the first year for the SEC tournament and the sixth year in a row that Robbins has provided the Big East tournament’s playing surface.

The Big East Tournament, held annually at Madison Square Garden, continues to rely on Robbins Sports Surfaces for full setup, storage and ongoing court care, whether that involves a complete sand and repaint or a simple screen and coat. The tournament is played on a Robbins All‑Star® Portable floor, and all 11 Big East member teams compete each year on the trusted high‑performance surface for which Robbins is known.

Similarly, the SEC Conference Tournament, hosted at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, will take place on a Robbins All‑Star® Portable court this year. All 16 SEC teams will compete on a Robbins court throughout the tournament, supported by the same level of performance, consistency and player‑focused design that programs across the country depend on during championship play.

“The SEC and Big East tournaments are among the top echelon of tournament play,” said John Ficks, Global Sales and Marketing Manager, Robbins Sports Surfaces. “The quality of the courts themselves must match the level of play to ensure not just exciting competition but also the safety and security of those playing and working on the courts.”

As the excitement of these tournaments unfolds, Robbins Sports Surfaces wishes all teams and athletes the best of luck in their pursuit of hoisting a trophy.
