Robbins Sports Surfaces LLC Celebrates a Near Sweep of the NCAA (DI, DII, DIII, NIT) Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships

CINCINNATI, Ohio (April 7, 2026) – Throughout the 2025–2026 NCAA basketball season, Robbins Sport Surfaces LLC courts supported 33 of the 68 Division I teams competing for a national title, across both game‑day arenas and practice facilities.

Last night’s win by the Michigan Wolverines places them among an elite group of 2026 NCAA National Champions who play and practice on Robbins Sport Surfaces courts, including UCLA Bruins (DI Women), Gannon University Golden Knights (DII Men), Grand Valley State University Lakers (DII Women), Mary Washington University Eagles (DIII Men), Denison University Big Red (DIII Women), and Auburn University (NIT Men).

Together, these programs represent a near‑complete sweep, with seven of eight championship teams either playing or practicing on a Robbins floor.

For more than a century, Robbins has manufactured floors designed with safety and performance in mind, today delivering durability, shock absorption and biomechanical benefits that enhance play while helping to reduce the risk of injury over the course of a long, demanding basketball season. From preseason preparation to high-stakes conference play, Robbins flooring systems serve as the foundation for elite college basketball programs across the country.

“Seeing so many championship teams compete and train on Robbins floors speaks volumes about the dedication of our team and our commitment to safety and performance,” said John Ficks, Global Sales and Marketing Manager for Robbins Sports Surfaces, LLC. “We’re proud to support athletes at every level, and we congratulate all of the 2026 champions.”

Robbins courts are a point of pride in the communities where they are sourced and manufactured, such as White Lake, Wisconsin and Ishpeming, Michigan. Every March, Robbins employees follow the tournament closely, watching teams compete on the same surfaces they help produce every day. This year marks the first year that all but one championship team either plays or practices on a Robbins floor.
