May 19, 2006 Earlier this month Robbins’ staff traveled to Moscow to observe progress and provide technical guidance on the installation of four Robbins basketball flooring systems. The Olympics Training Center, also known as the Krilatskoe project, is currently under construction and considered to be the “most important sports complex in Russia”. When completed, this complex will house multiple Russian teams preparing for the Olympic Games. Bamard Ltd., Robbins’ dealer in Russia, started the installation of the floors May 1st and is expected to complete the project by September 1st. The sports complex will include three 8,000 square foot practice courts, as well as a 12,000 square foot competition floor in the main arena. When it came time for the decision of which sports floors should be installed, the choice was easy. With 19 NBA competition floors, 17 NBA practice floors, plus 9 of 13 WNBA teams, and countless top NCAA programs, it’s a no brainer! Who other than Robbins? With that status and reputation, it’s easy to see why Russia chose Robbins. After all these athletes deserve the best of the best - they deserve Robbins. Robbins is the premier supplier of high performance maple and synthetic sports flooring systems to the education, religious and fitness markets. In more than 60 nations around the world athletes compete on millions of square meters of Robbins’ Sport Surfaces.
