Robbins Bio-Channel Scores in the NBA's Newest Arena

FedExForum and Memphis Grizzlies Choose Robbins for new NBA Training Center

Cincinnati, Ohio, September 21, 2006 – Memphis is known for Mississippi River Blues, Rock and Roll, the Ribs and now Robbins Sport Surfaces. Following a recent trend in arena design led by Indiana’s Conseco Fieldhouse, the FedExForum was designed with Memphis in mind.

In addition to music, the FedExForum also features the NBA’s most recent Basketball Team Training and Practice Center. And once again, the best choice for the high performance floor was Robbins Bio-Channel Classic. In fact, the installation of the maple basketball floor in Memphis marked the 16th such installation in the NBA.

Located on historic Beale Street, the FedExForum is home court for Memphis “Grizzlies” basketball. Robbins also furnished the portable basketball floor (All-Star Plus) in the arena as well. The 2004-05 NBA season will be the 10th season in Grizzlies history, the fourth in Memphis and the first in the FedExForum. The franchise moved to Memphis in 2001 following six seasons in Vancouver, British Columbia, and played their first three seasons in Memphis in The Pyramid Arena. The “Grizzlies” franchise has played on Robbins floors in their previous home in Vancouver, as well as the Pyramid prior to the move to the FedExForum.

The new Bio-Channel Classic was installed by Covington Flooring Company, Inc.

For the record, Robbins and its team of Authorized Dealers have installed the Bio-Channel system in the following NBA Team Training Centers:

Chicago “Bulls”

Cleveland “Cavaliers”

Denver “Nuggets”

Indiana “Pacers”

LA “Lakers”

LA “Clippers”

Memphis “Grizzlies”

New York “Knicks”
