Robbins Dominates the Boards in Men’s NCAA-I Tournament
Cincinnati, OH,
March 22, 2004 It’s that time of year again when collegiate basketball’s premier teams face off against their foes to decide who is the best in land. The NCAA-Division I tournament is underway and most fans are filling in their brackets predicting the outcome of the 62 team battle. The Robbins bracket looks equally impressive. Once again, Robbins leads the industry with the majority of the hosting tournament sites proudly displaying their Robbins Northern Hard Maple basketball floors. In all brackets, Robbins was the dominant surface in the preliminary round sites. 9 of the 16 cities hosting the first and second round games feature the Robbins All-Star Portable basketball floor. This week, the field narrows to 16 teams and Robbins is proud to post championship stats - 75% (3 of 4) of the tournament sites host teams playing on Robbins portable floors. Robbins All-Star Basketball Floors are found in these three “Sweet Sixteen” sites: Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford America West Arena, Phoenix Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis In addition to the tournament sites, Robbins also plays a major role in the development of these athletes by being the preferred surface for many of the teams “home court” venues as well. Robbins scores big in the professional ranks as well with 19 of the 29 NBA teams playing on the Robbins All-Star plus portable floor.
